Seven members of the Pike-Delta-York Destination Imagination (DI) teams visited Fulton Lodge #248, Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio, on Tuesday evening, May 17, for a steak dinner and a chance to enlighten lodge members and their families about DI. The young men in the picture are representatives of three teams (Elementary, Middle and Secondary) who will travel to Knoxville, Tennessee beginning May 24 to compete in the Global Finals for DI.
The youth and Ms. Jane Foor, Middle School Educator and P-D-Y Schools DI Coordinator, made a presentation after dinner about their long-term and spontaneous, creative problem solving challenges. The lodge then presented the team members with a check for $422.00, raised from donations during the dinner, to help them in their upcoming quest.
